Pick, Taste, and Celebrate the Hudson Valley Harvest

Apple picking, cider donuts, pumpkin patches, and farm-fresh flavors every day in Highland, NY.

About Us

On Perkinsville Road in Highland, DuBois Farms has earned over 1,300 five-star moments the old-fashioned way: by growing real food on real land and letting people get their hands into it. Climb aboard the tractor ride out to the orchard rows, fill your bag with sun-warmed apples, and walk back past the pumpkin patch while the smell of cider donuts drifts across the whole property. That sequence, repeated by families every autumn weekend, is what 4.6 stars actually looks like.

The farm doesn't just sit there looking scenic. On any given Saturday you might roll in to find a car show filling the front field, a bluegrass duo playing near the barn, or a checkout line that somehow moves fast enough that nobody loses their good mood. The staff keeps things organized without making the place feel managed, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. Come mid-October, when the maples along the ridge go full orange, DuBois Farms is as good-looking as any spot in the Hudson Valley.

What We Offer

Pick-your-own is the main event: apples, vegetables, and seasonal crops that vary by the week. A tractor shuttle hauls you out to the rows so even the littlest pickers arrive fresh, not tired. The farm stand back at the barn keeps things going for anyone who'd rather choose from already-harvested goods.

The bakery turns out cider donuts that reviewers specifically call out by name, which tells you everything. Beyond donuts, the food store stocks farm-fresh produce, local goods, and the kind of seasonal items that change fast enough to reward repeat visits. Events, from car shows to live music, pop up throughout the season, so checking the farm's calendar before you go is always worth the thirty seconds.

Why Choose Us

Tractor rides deliver you directly to the orchard rows, so picking starts the moment you arrive.
Rated 4.6 out of 5 across 1,398 reviews, making it one of the Hudson Valley's most loved farm destinations.

"Looking for a super fun pick-your-own farm? DuBois Farms is the place to go! It’s perfect for a family day out. They even have a tractor ride that takes you right to the fruits and veggies if you don’t feel like walking — such a fun touch! The food is SO good — I had the peach pizza and wow, it was amazing. We also grabbed some apple cider donuts and I swear they’re the best in the entire Hudson Valley. Plus, they have drinks (yes, even for adults 😉), which makes it a win for everyone. Honestly, such a great spot to spend the day — highly recommend!"

"Super cute farm, were hosting a car show when we arrived. Absolutely beautiful in the fall with all the leaves changing. We went mid October, great place, great vibe. I did apple picking with my wife and we later got some homemade jams and donuts which were delicious."

"This is a family friendly place with lots to do. Weekends now require a $10 admission per person, but you are provided with a $10 voucher to use towards your purchases. It's beyond reasonable. We had good pizza, listened to music, picked lots of apples, and purchased the, ever so coveted, apple cider donuts. The pumpkin patch was great, both for photo ops, or picking the perfect pumpkin for your carving needs. We love this place and highly recommend it."
